Experience Otaru Canal in a whole new light at the Yummy-ichi North Canal Night Market from Sep. 19 (Sat.) to 26 (Sat.). Enjoy canal illuminations, local food and goods, live music, games, and floating lanterns. The events are different each day, so check the website. Lanterns will be on sale from 7 PM on Sep. 19 (Sat.), 23 (Wed./hol.) and 26 (Sat.). Adm.: free. Hours: 5–9 PM.
