Sapporo Summer Festival

Date: July 23 (Thu.) - Aug. 18 (Tue.)

The 2026 Sapporo Summer Festival will be held at Odori Park.

Sapporo Odori Beer Garden

Sit outside with a gentle breeze and taste beer provided by the major breweries such as Suntory, Kirin, Sapporo and other breweries (Odori 5 to 8-chome).

Worldwide food and beverages will be served at the World Beer Village (10-chome) and German Village (11-chome). Some seats can be reserved in advance.

The 73rd Tanuki Matsuri (Chuo-ku, Minami 2 and 3-jo Nishi 1 to 7- chome) will be held from July 23 (Thu.) to Aug. 18 (Tue.) at the Tanukikoji arcade.

At the 62nd Susukino Matsuri (Sapporo Ekimae-dori, Minami 4 to 7-jo), food stalls and drum performances can be enjoyed from Aug. 6 (Thu.) to 8 (Sat.). The Oiran Dochu (procession of courtesans) will be on Aug. 6 (Thu.).

The Hokkai Bon Odori (Odori 2-chome) is held to pray for ancestors. Feel free to join in the dance. Date: Aug. 13 (Thu.)–16 (Sun.), 7—9 p.m. (6—7 p.m. for child dancers)
