The 2025 Sapporo White Illumination and The German Christmas Market are being held at Odori Park.
A corridor of white illuminations (5-chome) is the highlight of the Odori venue. Enjoy the combination of a symbolic object with wings (1-chome) and the Sapporo TV Tower. In front of the JR Sapporo Sta., street trees are decorated with numerous blue lights. Illuminated arches change color with the sounds.
Lighting hours: 4:30–10 p.m. (until midnight during the Christmas period and at JR Sapporo Sta. Ekimae Hiroba).
Date: Odori 1–5-chome; Nov. 21–Dec. 25. Ekimae-dori; Nov. 21–Feb. 11, 2026. Minami 1-jo-dori, Akapla, and JR Sapporo Sta. Ekimae Hiroba; Nov. 21–Mar. 14, 2026.
